Is the HeadMapping service list preloaded?
Yes, all of the HeadMapping services are preloaded in ColorBiz for your convenience.
How long will it take me to enter my color line?
Since the Aveda product line is preloaded into ColorBiz for you, you don't have to worry.
Do I have to link my staff to each service in both SalonBiz and ColorBiz?
Staff members must be linked to the services they perform in the Staff File of SalonBiz/SpaBiz. You will need to link your staff to a Service Level in the View Staff section of ColorBiz so that the appropriate price corresponds with the HeadMapping service.
Do I have to set up pricing in both ColorBiz and SalonBiz?
ColorBiz pricing overrides the default service prices in SalonBiz/SpaBiz.
What if I need to apply a toner at the bowl?
Simply return to ColorBiz and add in the service, then formulate the color and mix.
Does the system prompt for virgin hair or retouches?
The system allows for manual adjustments for these types of services. Formula adjustments are automatically changed proportionately.
Do I have the flexibility to mix more than one bowl?
Mixing is easy, simply determine what you need in each bowl. The software records each bowl's formulation separately for accuracy. There is no limit to the number of color bowls.
What if I am in the middle of a formula and someone changes the screen?
ColorBiz saves the formula and when you reselect it, the information is still in place.
Am I still able to discount a ticket with a color service on it?
Yes, ColorBiz transfers the total service amount to the sales ticket in SalonBiz/SpaBiz. Discounts may then be applied to the sales ticket itself.
Will all of the SalonBiz formulas going to show up on the new ColorBiz screen?
Only the formulas that are entered in ColorBiz will appear in the customers' ColorBiz file. However, any formulas entered in ColorBiz will be stored in the customers' SalonBiz/SpaBiz file.
How will the front desk know what to put on the SalonBiz sales ticket?
ColorBiz automatically transfers the correct price and formula to SalonBiz/SpaBiz when you save today's visit information.
Since this is a web application, can I access ColorBiz from home?
No, ColorBiz is secure and can only be accessed from the salon location.
