placed on your desktop and will automatically link to your SalonBiz®/SpaBiz®
database.

Sales Statistics
The sales statistics for your location(s) can be viewed in a variety of formats, making it easy for you to gauge performance. You can view and compare the sales statistics of your staff as a whole, the statistics of a single staff member or the statistics of multiple locations. The Sales Statistics program can be minimized to your computer’s toolbar. It can be calculated manually, but is set to
automatically refresh every five minutes.

Charts
You can view any of your sales statistics data in the form of a bar graph with a simple click of a mouse. The drop-down menus in the charts feature allow you to adjust to your desired time frame criteria (day, week, month, quarter, year).

Drill Down
You can access even more detailed sales information from each chart by category (services, products, gift certificates). That data can then be further broken down into subcategories that will allow you to monitor their total dollars generated and quantity.

Export
Exporting the information contained in the Sales Statistics program makes it easy for you to print, file and present your data. You can export the information into a variety of formats, including Adobe PDF and Excel.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to set up the program once I receive it?
No, the Extended Technologies customer support team will install a shortcut
on your desktop for you that links to your SalonBiz®/SpaBiz® database.

How often does the program update data when minimized?
The Sales Statistics program will automatically update information every five
minutes. You can manually update the information at anytime by clicking on
the Calculate button.

Can I set my own fiscal year?
No, the calendar year is hard-coded in the program and set from January to
December.

How is this different from the Sales Summary Report on the ticket screen?
While the Sales Summary Report is a great tool, the Sales Statistics
program is faster, provides comparative data at a glance and utilizes
informative visual representation through the use of graphs.

Does this program calculate net or gross?
The totals generated are net, or the total dollars after discounts.

Can I view all of my locations at one time?
No, the Sales Statistics program is currently set to view the three main
components of your business (service, products and gift certificate sales)
one location at a time. You can, however, export the specific information for
all locations one at a time for easy comparison.

Do you have to close and reconcile a day to make sure that the calculations are accurate?
No, you don’t have to close your day for the calculations to be accurate.
You do, however, have to make sure that the tickets you want included are
processed.
